Best HTML5 game 2017

Looking for inspiration, the pure HTML5, CSS and JavaScript open source free games world came to my mind. Of course that there are the basic arcade games like PacMan, Snake and so on, but this game won by it's user addiction ability: Browser Quest.

It's a Pixel Art addicting game. Simple, multi-player and very fun - also for kids. Check the game interface (Fig.2).

Although the role-playing game takes a cue from landmark titles such as the Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy, it does an excellent job of showcasing the WebGL system and how well it works. 

There are NPCs to talk to, new weapons and powerups to collect, and the entire game is open-source if you want to try your hand at a little bit of WebGL coding. 

The classic look is clean and polished and it’s even an MMO, showing you how many other players are in the game at all times.
